After 10 years of trying to have our own children we finally decided to adopt. My little angel is now almost 6 years old. Since she is an only child, she has loved to have other kids around to learn and play with plus it is like having an extended family for me, the family I really never could have. I am very passionate about what I do because I feel that all children deserve to be safe, loved and cared for. The only form of discipline I believe in is time outs or to remove the child from the situation. I have had years of experience with children having had 11 nieces and nephews. I provide all food, snacks and drinks. Hours can be flexible. Have a list of references that can be provided upon request. Although not licensed currently, during the adoption process we had to become licensed which I allowed to expire not knowing I would be watching other children. We had to be fingerprinted, background checks run, drug tests and several unannounced home studies for the first 4 years of my daughter's life. If CPR and first aid certification is important, I would be more than willing to take the classes.
