I have recently graduated from Pepperdine University and moved back to Arizona. I have always loved working with kids and walking with them for a chapter in their lives, and am looking for an opportunity to contribute to a family in the area. I have experience babysitting children of all ages, from quadruplet premature babies just home from the hospital to high school students. I received training as a camp counselor for summer day camps working with kids of all ages, maintaining order and safety while engaging kids in activities. I have taught dance, running classes of up to 20 students from little ones at creative level to high school competition level. I trained and served as a middle school counselor, working extensively with middle school girls. While studying abroad, I continued to work with children by volunteering at a refugee orphanage for 3 to 10-year-old children. While at Pepperdine, in addition to occasionally babysitting, I volunteer through church to assist at Sunday school and other events with youth groups and as a campus leader served as a mentor to underclassmen. I also have experience tutoring in multiple subjects and enjoy helping kids understand subjects.
