First, I am a substitute teacher in the La Porte Community School Corporation specializing in Pre-K and elementary school. While I was in 4-H, I was a 4-H Camp Counselor for 6 years, where I would be in charge of a group of up to 10 children for 3 straight days. I am also a career professional clown. As you can see, I have made my living for years based in childcare and working with children. If the kids are good for me, I bring my balloons along and make them each an awesome balloon sculpture of whatever they want.

Now, parents, you get a special treat too! I'm notorious as a babysitter that if you leave dishes and such out for me, I will take care of them after the kids have been put to bed before you get home. After all, you're going out to have a night to yourselves, why should you come home to more house work? I am also certified by the American Heart Association to administer CPR and perform the Heimlich Maneuver should the occasion call for it (let's hope it doesn't, but just in case!).
