Hi! My name is Sam C., and I am a licensed elementary teacher from Minneapolis!

Recently, I have been taking courses toward a Master's in elementary education, as well as completing a full year of student teaching at a Learning Center in a 3rd grade class. There, I also taught supplemental math and reading classes after school to 1st and 4th-graders. This gave me great practice independently developing both lessons and a positive classroom environment.

For the past two summers, I helped manage a community center's summer camp for elementary-age children. This experience gave me practice designing curriculum and organizing activities for up to 200 children. I also was the lead individual when it came to dealing with behavior issues, which meant I was collaborating with parents on a regular basis.

As you can see, I have a lifelong passion for education and working with children in general. I am very excited for the opportunity to bring this passion to another group of students. I would love the opportunity to help your child(ren) have a fun and engaging summer!
