Hello,
My name is Samantha, and I've been babysitting for over 10 years. I started as a Mother's Helper for a woman who had twins, a boy and a girl, and I stopped working for her when she moved. After that, I started babysitting after school and on weekends for the woman across the street from where I grew up. I did that until I moved to Haverhill, MA, when I was 16 years old. Also during that time, I would babysit cousins and other kids in the neighborhood, on occasion. Once I got my license, I started working for my aunt and helping her with my cousin. I would pick her up after school at the daycare and bring her home. I then would make sure she would eat dinner and we would usually either play outside if it was nice or color, and do arts and crafts. She was limited to an hour of TV a day, so I was always trying to come up with games to play. I taught her how to play hide and seek and patty cake games. The only reason I stopped doing that was because I joined the Army right out of high school, and was away for almost a year. My husband is in the army now and we are being stationed at Ft. Hood TX. I'm either looking to help you full or part time, whatever you need. Even if it is on occasions.
