I just graduated with a B. S. from Virginia Tech. I studied Science of Human Nutrition, Foods, and Exercise. My GPA was a 3.68 and I am now attending Nursing School at VCU/MCV. I am looking to help out any families that need a babysitter in the the Richmond area. I have babysat since I was about 12 years old and I have worked at two different day cares. When I was 12 I used to babysit two different families in my neighborhood each with two children. In high school, every summer I was a nanny to my three boy cousins (ages 6, 7 and 10). I took them to the pool, cooked them lunch, took one of them to tutoring, assisted them with summer homework, and came up with many fun games and crafts to do. I loved every minute I got to spend with them.

In high school and college, I also worked at the after school program and preschool summer programs at a Christian School. I supervised preschoolers in a summer camp and elementary school children after school. I created and participated in activities with the children, ensured every student got off the bus safely, and that every student enjoyed their time at the after school program.

I also babysat two twin girls when I was home from college. They were 3 years old and we always had a great time. I normally would watch them while their parents had a date night. We would eat dinner and have a fun night playing with baby dolls, hide and seek, and watching a movie. While in college in Blacksburg, VA, I worked at a daycare. I worked there from April 2010-December 2010. I enjoyed this job so much. I worked mainly with infants and toddlers 6 weeks- 2.5 years old. I supervised infants, toddlers, and preschool children, created fun educational activities and games for the children, and maintained an age appropriate day-to-day schedule of activities. I kept the infants on daily feeding and napping schedules. I helped make the infants and toddlers feel loved and happy because I know it is hard for many infants and toddlers when their parents leave them. I have always loved babysitting and I hope to help out more families that would like a reliable and trustworthy person watching their children.
