I am currently a senior at Walsh University in my last year. I am double majoring as an Intervention Specialist (Special Education) K - 12 moderate to intense disabilities and Early Childhood. I have my associates degree in Early Childhood Intervention Specialist from Stark State. I currently care for a 19-year-old boy with severe autism and I have done so for the past 5 years. I have taken care of children from newborns to teens for the past 6 years. I have and am comfortable with cleaning, preparing meals, and giving medications. I love being as creative as possible when caring for children. Based on their ability levels, I create activities such as games, crafts, and projects to help them reach their fullest potential. I have tutored students with homework as well. I have an incredible passion for teaching, especially teaching children with special needs. I worked with adults with special needs for 3 years and I currently volunteer there. I love to be outdoors, go running, and spending time with my family. I am the 8th of 9 children and have been around children my entire life.
