I have been babysitting for seven years, predominately for one family that have 3 children. I am not an ordinary sitter in that I do not believe that children should placed in front of a television or computer. I do understand that technology plays an important role in their lives, I believe in interaction with children is more important. I like to play with children outside, being involved in games. I also like to plan projects that we can do together as well as reading, games, etc. I fell is important to show children respect that way the learn to respect others. I like guidelines from parents as to their expectations. This way my job is easier and I can focus on Children.
