Being a profoundly involved and supportive member of a therapeutic foster and adoptive family, I have had the opportunity to positively impact the lives of many young people.

I have four adoptive siblings (all of whom have special needs) that I love dearly. Special needs diagnosis that I have had the most experience with are Arthrogryposis, Cerebral Palsy, Down Syndrome, Autism, Reactive Attachment Disorder, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder and Attention Deficit and Hyperactivery Disorder.

I enjoy sharing my knowledge and wisdom about life and take pleasure in helping youth to be the best them (emotionally, socially, physically, and so forth) in spite of their circumstances. Teens and children often take to my youthful nature and my respectable yet down-to earth personality; my patience and ability to nurture unconditionally has yielded much success in my work with them. I work with youth through their situations; and I constantly encourage independence and self-sufficiency through self-esteem building and by providing opportunities where they gain guided hands-on experience.

I believe that each and every child deserves great care and I pride myself on providing just that.
