I have a degree in Home Economics Education and lots of experience working with children's educational activities, have reared 2 daughters, and have 4 grandchildren aged 8-13. I also cared for a toddler in my home for a year recently beginning when he was 2 1/2.
I believe children blossom when they are given appropriate choices by adults who respect them, but are allowed to learn by doing. Such caring attention promotes resourcefulness and a good self image, while advancing knowledge and skills.

I am friendly, caring, competent and very reliable and enjoy children and their families very much. My time is flexible and can be accommodated to the situation.
