I would have loved to leave Rose 5 stars. She was with our family for 6 months and my children loved her. She took them to the park and on walks daily. They were outside as much as possible, played with play-doh, colored and had tons of fun. I always came home to a clean house and folded laundry - which was a bonus! But most of all we could trust her with our children. Why the 3 stars then? Rose asked us to give her 1-2 months notice if our schedules changed. As requested, last week we gave her 1 month notice that in April her hours would be cut but that we would try to give her as many hours as we could for steady and consistent income for her. I had to take 3 days off of work (unpaid) because Rose cancelled 30 minutes before she was supposed to be here stating there was a family emergency on the first day of missing work. I understand family issues come up, but to quit over the phone at 6:30am on the 3rd day of missing work when I was leaving is inconsiderate. Very unprofessional.

Rose helped us out a couple of times when our regular nanny was ill. When we later lost that nanny due to her commuting issues, we would have hired Rose if she had been available full time at that point. She was prompt with replies both to email and voice mail and showed up on time for the interview and for work. Our baby girl adores her and I found her to be professional, and a pleasant person to have in our home. She took our daughter to the park, read stories to her, and made sure she was well cared for. I would hire her again.

Rose worked with my family last year for a few months when my baby was young and my work schedule was heavy. I have four boys, three of which were under 4 when she was with us. She was always punctual, communicative, open, honest and generally really nice to be around. My boys really liked her and still occasionally ask to see "Nana Rose". She showed them genuine affection, played games with them, took them to the park, etc. When there was down time, she would work through my mountains of laundry and tidy up the kitchen - what's not to love about that! I would highly recommend her : ).

We interviewed Rose and liked her the best out of all the nannies we interviewed. We explained to her that we only needed part time. In fact, we waited until she finished up her previous nanny job and accommodated her start date of late May. Rose was very sweet to our children, even told them she "loved them"....however, how can you say that to children when you plan to not see them again! How sad! Rose came to work for us for one day! She did not have the courtesy to tell me at the end of that day she was not comfortable, but rather waited until 30 minutes before she was to come in the next day to cancel on us, leaving us with no sitter. Very unprofessional. Common courtesy is to give a notice or speak to the family if there are issues. All in all, it worked out for the best!

Rose has been our part-time nanny for the past 7 months. We have two boys, 8.5 months and 3 years. My mom stayed with us for the first 6 weeks after my second was born and Rose stepped in when my mom had to leave. What a life saver! She cares for both boys as if they were her own grandchildren and helps me around the house without me asking. I can't imagine what it would have been like if we hadn't hired her. Rose has never left me in a bind and has been flexible when her schedule allows. I highly recommend her!

I e-mailed Rose via Care.com and explained my requirements and rate/hour. She replied that she was interested and gave her phone number. I called and left a message. No return phone call. I followed up with her again. Her hourly rates were almost twice what I had stated I was willing to pay but I agreed to meet with her based on her positive reviews. I confirmed the appt. time via e-mail. No response. Due to a work conflict, I called to reschedule and also e-mailed her. When I called, she stated that she was no longer available for the job. However, she did not call me, or e-mail me to cancel the appointment. I think this was unprofessional.

Rose was a nanny for our two children, ages three and half and three months old for a couple of weeks last Spring and she is really nice. Rose was always on time and great with the kids. She showed genuine affection for both our children and my daughter really warmed up to her and kept talking about her even when she no longer worked for us. Unfortunately, our schedules don't work out any more, which is why Rose will not be working with us in the fall, but she is great and I would love to call her again whenever the need arises.

Hi, Nanny Rose worked for us for a couple of months until we did no longer need her services. We found her very dependable and reliable. If she said she would be there to pick up the kids, she was there in time - actually a few minutes earlier - just to be save. Besides of taking care of the children, she always found things to do around the house, like empty the dishwasher machine, fold clothes. We are were thankful for her help.
