I am a recent honors graduate from CU and have been babysitting and tutoring children since I was 13. One of my greatest passions in life is working with children of all age groups from any and all backgrounds. Currently, I babysit on an occasional basis for three Boulder families and on a regular basis for four Boulder families with children ranging from 6 months to 9 years old. I pride myself on the fact that I work hard to not only form extremely close bonds with the families I babysit for but also to maintain them for years. I have been invited to travel with families in the past and am often trusted watching children for days at a time when necessary.

I have been volunteering for 5 years on the planning committee and as a staff member for a camp for children with cancer and their siblings. I cannot even describe the joy one gets from working with such courageous and inspiring people. I also spent the first 3 years in college tutoring disadvantaged high-school and middle-school students for the I Have a Dream Program and only stopped when I added a second major, and my schedule would no longer allow it. Finally, in 2010, I spent 3 months in rural Nepal teaching English and math to elementary aged children - an experience of a lifetime with the most amazing people and kids I have ever met.
