I am a qualified English and Language Arts teacher with 21 years of experience. I am passionate about working with children and although my recent experience has been with high school. I have been trained in Junior Primary as well. I have recently relocated to Marietta from the UK and am looking to change careers and become a childcare provider as this will suite my family better as they settle in to their new life in the US. I have two daughters, age 17 and 13. It is my ambition to grow my childcare business to a small, personal and intimate care center where the children in my care are able to get the best possible individual attention which will allow them to develop in a positive and nurturing social environment. I am starting my childcare provision in my home and have now started accepting care for the summer. I am available from the end of May 2010 for summer care and this could be extended to a permanent arrangement should it be required. I offer a structured day which includes play, arts and crafts, reading, math, outings and meals as required. I promise the summer will not be dull and your child will have plenty of recreation and fun activities too.
