Rocio has cared for our toddler for approximately one year (ages 1-2). Her warm personality, caring and hardworking nature and all-around friendliness made it a natural transition for us when she first began to care for our daughter, our first live in nanny. More so, as the relationship and trust continued to grow between our child and her, it became more and more evident each day what an excellent job she does. Rocio's background in art and art therapy is shown in the care she provides for our daughter. She can be relied on to follow through with activities I've organized for my daughter and provide thoughtful feedback on whether it was an enriching experience for our daughter or not. Rocio incorporates learning activities to daily tasks prompting further learning and development at an age appropriate level which has helped our daughter's Spanish language skills tremendously. And, even in her "tough moments" she is patient and able to redirect our daughter in positive manner. Additionally, she built a positive rapport with us quickly. Bright, college education and independent minded, Rocio has always upheld high personal and professional standards for herself, which we were impressed by. She is extremely dependable, communicates well, and responsible. As a live-in nanny, she had the added challenge of incorporating herself into our family life and did so with a genuine grace and balance. Life is change and it's time for Rocio to move forward in her life. We appreciate the time we had her and we recommend her wholeheartedly.
