I worked with a family from high school into my last years of college caring for 3 kids, all about two and a half years apart. I have grown up with the family, and now that the eldest is 14 years old, I am not needed as often. I enjoy spending time with children, mainly because I too get to be a child and play games and have fun and I enjoy being a positive influence on children. I also volunteered as a Mentor in Big Brothers Big Sisters Program for two years up until this year because I had been busy with work that I was unable to provide the time necessary to continue as a mentor.
