I have always loved caring for children and have more than 25 years experience doing so. I raised three children, and now I have six grandchildren whose lives I am very involved in. I am retired and working part-time at the YMCA, in their Child Watch program. I enjoying working in the general play area, assisting in the Arts and Crafts, when needed. We play games, read stories, and engage in imaginative, educational, but primarily fun activities. I especially enjoy working in the nursery with the infants (3 months-1 year). We give them bottles, diaper and changed them and mostly rock and cuddle the little ones.
In addition to working at the YMCA, I free lance as a nanny in the area. I babysit young children on the weekends, in order for the parents to go out on a "date night." I am on call for children who are sick at home and unable to go to school. I also do before and after care for school age children. I am flexible, dependable, and trustworthy.
