Hello, I am happy to meet you.

I have been a professional governess or nanny for the past 25 years. My employers have all been State Department Foreign Service officers, and I have traveled with them and lived all over the world, including the U. S., Mexico, Belgium, Malaysia, and India. I have kept in touch with almost all of the families and children I have cared for over the years, and recently had the pleasure of being included among the family at the graduations of two of my first "children."

I enjoy caring for children of all ages, from day-old newborns to teenagers. I am constantly involved, reading and playing games with them, arranging and monitoring play dates, preparing healthy meals, driving them to after-school activities and making sure they are engaged in wholesome but fun activities.

I also have experience caring for the elderly, including Alzheimer's patients, though on a volunteer basis. I have spent a great deal of time caring informally for the parents and 90-year-old great aunt of my most recent employer. One of my references is from his brother, who is a geriatrician who was selected as National Geriatrician of the Year in 2004.

I worked for my most recent employer for almost all of the last 15 years, the last five of which he was the single father of two lovely daughters, now 17 and 14. He and both of his daughters are available to correspond with you by email if you wish.

I am an Indian citizen, but have U. S. legal permanent residence. I would be happy to talk with you about your caregiving needs and my qualifications, or to meet you in person if you prefer.
