Informally I have been changing diapers in my churches nursery since I was about 10 years old. But in a more formal experience I was a Youth and Family Intern at Redeemer Presbyterian Church where I worked with ages 3rd grade up to high school.
Later I worked at the Brazos Valley Children's Museum as an Educational Program Assistant where I worked with toddlers up about 10 years old. Both positions required me to plan engaging age appropriate activities that were either educational, exercise oriented, or just plain fun.
I am comfortable handling large groups of children for extended periods of time. I have handled groups of 50 or more on my own school children on field trips during my time at the Children's Museum.
