Hi, My Name is Rhonda. I am a military wife and stay-at-home mother of two girls, ages 14 and 10. I have been babysitting since 1978. I love children of all ages. Besides raising my own two girls, I have kept on a full-time basis my nieces and nephews, other family and friends' children. For years I have volunteered in multiple church nurseries, Sunday school classes and Awanas. Up until recently, I had been home-schooling my youngest daughter who has severe dyxlexia (we found a school that specializes in dyslexia), and also home-schooled my older daughter while living in Japan where I also taught English at a Japanese kindergarten for three years. When babysitting, I believe the sitter should be interacting with the children as much as possible, helping them learn new things, helping with homework, playing with them on their level of play, and reinforcing the parents' rules and routines. I am an avid pet lover and have experience with a wide variety of animals from small pets to farm animals. I also will to do light housekeeping, take children to activities as needed, and run errands. I am able to provide very flexible hours to meet your needs.
