As an empty-nest mom, I am looking for families who value a loving, seasoned caregiver. I was very involved with my children, and was a Girl Scout leader, PTA president, Red Cross swim instructor and Sunday school teacher. Babysitting is a lot of fun for me since they are all now lovely young adults! I am picky about who I sit for, and I am sure you are just as picky when you chose who will come into your home to care for your precious children. My favorite families have values and a parenting style that are in sync with mine, making their instructions much easier to carry out. I will read, play games, sing, do crafts, and give your children the same attention and respect that you do. You will never have to wonder what is going on at home while you are away. I have a lifetime of professional CPR training, have raised a special needs child, and cared for my dad during the final stages of cancer. I work full-time for the AF surgeon general, have a security clearance, and clean driving record. I am available after 4:00 p.m. during the week, and can stay as late as necessary, even overnight. I am available to stay for all or any part of a weekend. I have excellent references from current parents who I sit for, as well as life-long friends, and who can attest to my character, dedication, and reliability. I provide care after 4:30, all hours during weekends, overnights, and also extended-stay care for school-aged children. Be sure to enjoy each moment with your children, and only choose the best sitters to be part of their extended family.
