I am experienced with watching kids, as my mom had her own in-home day care through my childhood years. I baby-sat for several families around the ages 13 to 18, and my husband and I just had our first child, a son, that is a 1-year-old now. I love children and highly enjoy the play time with them and trying to figure out the body actions of what their needs are.
I would enjoy taking your child to the park, zoo, and/or other activities that are fun as that is how a child can learn. Also, I would love to do art projects with them such as coloring and unique things that they would have interest in. I have a social and friendly nature, which means I have a knack of connecting with children and adults from diverse backgrounds and I value the task of building community involvement, which I see as part of working in child care. Child safety is always at the forefront of my mind and I am cool-headed in stressful situations.
