In response to the advertisement, I am writing this letter for the position of child care provider/Assistant.
My education, experience and training have provided me with couple of strong skills in child care. I have taken care of different children for over 10 years. I know what it takes to be a child care provider. I worked with children of the age group of four to 16. I was responsible for monitoring meals and made sure that each child had well. Further more I did calm many of them whenever they felt homesick. I feel this work profile is perfect for me as I am comfortable and competent with children of all age groups.
Children especially toddlers need special care where they can grow and learn at the same time. I know child care provider is an important job and I feel confident that caretakers will provide close supervision, creative activities, and nutritional food for children. Parents can count on me to provide excellent care as was in my previous position. Some of my responsibilities as a child care provider are as follows;
Responsible for observing and applying developmental programs.
Keep record of children's growth, development and behavior.
Responsible for preparing play and learning materials to set up children's environment.
Responsible for supervising and training staff and students undertaking child care training programs.
Supervised children's play with making sure of their safety.
Help children with daily routines such as dressing, toileting, eating and sleeping.
Also responsible for preparing meals and snacks.
Maintained environment very clean, appealing and safe.
Provided guidance on children's behavior and social development.
As an Assistant;
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Having valid driving license and auto insurance.
Able to do home duties such as cleaning, washing dishes, making beds, doing laundry and many more.
Able to provide patient transportation to shopping, doctor's appointments and outside activities.
Proficient with computer literate such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, Power point and Internet.
Able to do documentation and keeping records.
Excellent communication and writing skills.
Ability to guide to religious services or events.
Able to help client with ambulation and transfer of motion exercises.
Able to perform delegated tasks instructed by the Parent
Responsible for other duties as assigned.
