I am the oldest of 3, have been babysitting for years, and volunteered as a preschool teacher at Vacation Bible School. I absolutely adore children and love making their faces light up as they discover new things. From making up stories, reading, building sheet forts, coloring, bedtime, meals and more! I always come prepared with my babysitter bag to make each day an adventure.

I also believe in instilling responsibility and good behavior. I use the "1-2-3" warning system and NEVER physical punishment. Simple rules like "inside voices" and "take your turn" are encouraged and ALL household rules are enforced.

I prefer to have a first visit with parents as well as childrenin order to be sure it's a good match for the kids. I also like to know about their schedules as I know structure is very important to a growing child. Parents are encouraged to leave lists and walk me through the daily routine.

I have absolutely no problem with pets of any kind, I do not smoke and can get to most destinaations via the bus as I do not own a car so, I'm sorry but, picking up children from daycare or school is not possible.
