Hello families!

My name is Rebecca and I am 27 years old. I am a native of Stamford, CT and a graduate of Stamford High School. I have many years of babysitting and nannying experience caring for children of all ages from infant to teens.

I have 7 years of babysitting experience. I started babysitting in middle school when I was 12 years old. When I was in high school I started my own babysitting business and was babysitting after school, evenings, and weekends for many different families. During this time, I also completed the Red Cross Babysitting Course which included CPR, First Aid, and Infant Care.

I have 6 years of nannying experience. I started nannying in 2005 and have been a nanny for 5 great families during that time. During this time, I have worked part-time and full-time hours. I have cared for children of all ages and families of all sizes, including a family with 5 children (including a set of twins). All of these positions ended mutually with the family no longer needing a nanny once the youngest children entered school full time.

I was most recently working as an after school nanny caring for a 3 children ages 8, 10, and 12. I was unfortunately laid off from this position as the mother was laid off from her job and could no longer afford to pay me. This is why I am seeking a new position with a great family.

My ideal position would be a live out position of 20-30 hours weekly, hopefully paid legally "on the books." I would prefer a long term position. I prefer to work in a smoke-free and pet-free home due to allergies. I have my own car to use on the job, with clean driving record and up to date insurance. In addition to childcare, I am happy to do light housekeeping (including laundry), light cooking, personal assistant work, and errands around town.
