I have over 10 years of experience working with children of all ages (newborn-middle school aged) in various different capacities (nannying, babysitting, after school programs and tutoring). As a nanny and babysitter I have been responsible for light housework pertaining to the child, making meals for the children and taking them to and from various activities. I have also been responsible for creating structure during the day, exploring the various activities Philadelphia has to offer children; story times at the bookstores and library, going to the park, playground, public pools and nest among other things. I speak Spanish fluently as I was a Spanish and Latin American Studies major at Earlham College and I have experience with children with special needs. I am outgoing and I am a very social person so I have had the benefit of meeting other nannies and mothers in my past nannying positions in Philadelphia. As a result, I try to make play dates whenever possible because I think it's important for all children to play with other children around their age. I love working with children and hope to continue to work with children as I pursue a career in Occupational Therapy.
