I'm an Art Education graduate with student teaching in elementary and middle school, and one year of teaching high school under my belt. I have been babysitting and changing diapers since I was 9-years-old when my little sister was born. Now she just graduated high school and that makes me feel old. Throughout middle school, high school, college, and even after college, I have babysat off and on and have a lot of experience with all age groups. I was regularly trusted to drive children and also provided overnight care for infants-6-year-olds. I will note here though, that my car is getting pretty old and has no AC, so I would not feel comfortable driving children in it at this time unfortunately. This should change when I get a new one soon, hopefully! My husband and I just moved to this area so that he could continue his education at NC State and also to be closer to my family. At this time, I am making a career change and starting my own art business, but still need a steady day job to pay the bills, of course. I am looking for part-time regularly scheduled weekdays (ideally 1-2 days a week) that would continue past summer. If you want a Christian, responsible, reliable, fun, crafty caregiver, then I'm your person!

I could only choose "Nanny" or "Sitter." I have experience in both and would ideally like to be a nanny this time. I just want to make it clear and honest that the majority (about 15 years of paid experience) is technically "babysitting", since I was in school full-time. I have some nanny experience during summers & recently after college.
