I have worked with children my entire life. I cared for my nieces and nephew when they were young. I had a nanny job for 2 years when I was 13-15. I watched twins when I got home from school and on the weekends. That's where I learned to adore children. While in college I worked at a Montessori academy and babysat kids while also in college. I taught Sunday school, choirs, piano lessons, I also have 4 years of experience teaching pre-K through 12th grades. Children are my passion. Teaching them to do right and helping them to be safe and secure with themselves is a personal goal when I am with children. As an educator it is my duty to be a moral compass, but also to love them unconditionally and let them know I am there for them and will do my best to be their friend. Personally, I like being able to work with the parent to achieve a child who is well balanced. I see so many times the communication barrier is cut down when it comes to caregiver and parent communication. I am open and honest and I believe that children are our future and as such they should be treated kindly and if they are treated well, they will treat others the same.
