I have taught music in 3 different schools, both private and public, and two different preschools over the last 10 years. I have a BA degree in Music Therapy, and am a certified/licensed teacher in VA, but want to work over the Summer. I have taught music privately in my home for over 12 years as well. The number one comment I get from students is that I'm "fun", and then they say, "and I really learned", as if surprised. I like it that way. I like making music,(or anything I teach) fun and applicable. My grown children still call for occasional advice and tell me often I did a great job. I think I did because they are totally together individuals with amazing lives and tons of self-esteem.
I spend my Summers enjoying our boat at Watagua Lake with my husband, who is a minister in Meadowview, VA.
