I am passionate about what I do because I have a degree in Human Development and Family Studies. I have spent a lot of time in the field as well as working many hours hands on with children. I recently was a nanny for two families with three children ages infant to 5 but due to buying a house I am forced to look for a new family. Before working as a nanny I worked in the preschool setting as an infant, pre-toddler and even a floating teacher at both the Goddard and Growing Years preschools. Previously, I held a position as a full-time preschool teacher in Morrisville caring for infants aged 6 weeks to a year. In my previous position, I worked as a site supervisor and administrator of an after-school program that housed kindergarten through sixth grade. I have also worked as an intern on the maternity floor of Blanchard Valley Hospital in Ohio. The many hours I have spent with children has really made me passionate about touching each child's life I work with, in one way or another. Currently, I have gone back to school to pursue a nursing degree part-time so that I can work in the hospital setting with children.
