I have a lot of experience caring for children since I was about 11 years old. I grew up in a house of five children, two of them being younger than I. I learned a lot about children and how to care for an infant in the years my younger siblings were growing up. I also babysat two to three times a week for about 5 years for a family of three children all under the age of six. I did this while still frequently babysitting for other families around the neighborhood. I have since been away at college for the last two years. In addition, I will be doing an internship at Western Michigan University for the spring semester in 2012. This internship entails that I care for and teach children with learning disabilities two hours a day, five days a week. I have had plenty of experience with children in the past and I have always loved caring for children and helping out parents in need.
