I have over 5 years of professional childcare experience, during which I was a mother to over 25 homeless children. I have 28 years of experience raising my own 3 (20 something) kids. They all hold college degrees or are attending college now. I enjoy offering children an opportunity to create and learn. I taught my own children to read by the age of 5 and enjoyed introducing them to the world of music, to include classical and opera. If you had a business trip or needed a getaway for mom & dad, I would be available to stay in your home with the children for as long as you needed me. Outings and day trips are my favorite things to plan and I have a lot of experience making them fun for kids. Discipline is important and I believe that the reward system is the best route. Kindness and attention go a long way too. I have taken over 80 hours of training/classes on childcare issues. My love of families and kids makes me a great nanny and I hope I hear from you soon.
