My work experience in a daycare setting was while I was in high school. I worked with the pre-k age group and loved it! I was the assistant teacher for the pre-k room. I was responsible for meals, snacks, nap time, play time, learning activities, educational videos, reading to the kids, etc. Also, I have babysat several children since I was 14 years old. When I was 14, I watched two boys who were 3 and 5 years of age. I was responsible for fixing their meals and playing outside/inside with them while their mother worked. I was responsible for keeping the house straight as well. I also have watched my niece and nephews for my siblings while they were busy with work and school. I have one niece, who will soon be turning one, and I have four nephews varying in ages from 1 year to 8 years. I love children and feel that I am very outgoing and get along well with them. I enjoy being able to learn from them, as they teach me sometimes when I wouldn't even expect it.
