I have babysat several family members' children for long periods of time. During the summers, I volunteer at my church's Summer Camp Program to be a counselor watching over a class. I usually gravitate to the younger age groups (3 years to 8 years old). I worked part time at a day care during the summer once, I watched over the toddlers. I am very experienced with changing diapers and wiping runny noses. Because I strongly support the development of imagination, I usually encourage children to submerge themselves in arts and crafts as well as story creating.
