My passion in life is caring for children. I am extremely passionate about caring for children because I believe all children need positive role models who care about their development academically and socially. I have been working with children since I was 14 years old. I have been employed at various daycares through the DC Summer Employment Program. Besides being paid for my services I have babysat for many of my family members. Currently I 'am a college student majoring in early childhood education at Lincoln University in PA, and once I graduate from college with my bachelor degree in early childhood education, I plan to work in the DC Public Schools because I want to give back to my community by being positive and encouraging to children in the area. I finished my freshman year with a grade point average of 3. 6 and I joined a few clubs. Also I did 5 hours of student teaching that count towards earning my teaching license. I plan on studying aboard to London England in maybe 2 years. I also traveled to Beijing China to do volunteer work and I've done many community service activities with my old high school. If I could describe myself in three words it would be helpful, determined and outgoing. I am a hard working person who always goes the extra mile to get things done.
