We hired Raquel last year to help with our three children ages 14, 11, and 6. Our oldest boy is autistic and therefore required the care of a younger child. Raquel helped with picking up from school, taking to sports/music lessons, etc. She also helped with light housework and cooking. We even took her with us on vacation and she was very helpful. All we have to say are great things so I don't understand the above reference because that doesn't sound like her at all. She was very caring and wonderful with the kids and trustworthy. I would recommend her hands down and am deeply saddened that she had to move out of my area. If she ever moves back we would snatch her up in a heartbeat!

Raquel was a full-time nanny in my Oviedo home for my 2 boys ages 2 & 5. Her primary responsibility was to care for my 2 year old, as my 5 year old attends pre-school. Her duties included child care, cooking, shopping, and light cleaning. She was excellent! She always planned fun activities for the children, she learned new recipes upon request. She shopped for groceries and other family needs, often without being asked. She was always on time, and never even mentioned the few times where she had to stay late due to my work schedule. The compensation was agreed upon in a nanny contract, and any extra hours were paid accordingly. She drove a provided vehicle to pick up my 5 year old from preschool, bring sick children to doctor appointments, and offer assistance as needed. She even stayed over a weekend at my house and cared for my boys to allow my husband and I to have an adult weekend. I interview 17 people for this position, before I hired Raquel. She was clearly the right choice. My boys absolutely loved her! The only reason she is no longer with our family, was her decision to move closer to home (South Florida) to finish college. Otherwise, she would still be with us. I highly recommend her to any family who is in need of a loving care giver!

I employed this individual at the top of her pay scale for over a month. The job required minimal work for a nanny position. Because she was paid salary, she was paid for (7) hours she was not even working, which I had no problem with. In instant she had to stay to do an additional 15 minutes of work, she immediately wanted more money for her time. Also changed the terms of our pay arrangement for sick days and demanded extra money. She was good with the kids, but will take advantage when given the opportunity. Unfortunately had to let her go.
