When I was 18 months old I was adopted into a family with 5 siblings, all who were much older than I am, and so I grew up around lots of nieces and nephews. When I graduated high school in 2007, I got a job as a camp counselor. After the summer was over, I started babysitting for my sister who had just had a baby. He was 5 months old when I started babysitting him. I did that for a year and went to the community college in Fallon. In 2008 I moved in with a close family friend and started watching their grandchildren, two girls, ages 3 and 1-year-old. I only watched them part time and continued school. That winter, I moved to Utah and started living on my own. I worked as a cashier, housekeeper, ranch hand and then I found my true passion.

I was hired at a academy in June 2009 and was placed in the infant/toddler classroom. I loved it. When the after-school teacher took maternity leave, I took over as the after-school teacher. I worked infant room mornings and school age (5-12) in the afternoons. I enjoyed that schedule very much. In May 2010, I moved back home to Nevada. I spent the summer working at a restaurant and really, really missed working with kids. I decided to look for jobs in Reno. Two weeks later I was hired at a academy. I was hired on as the pre-k teacher. I loved it. Unfortunately the enrollment was low, so I started being a breaker which was okay with me because it gave me the option to work with all of the age groups.

Unfortunately the numbers got really low and so did the hours, so I started looking for other jobs. Luckily for me, my friend who was a nanny put in a good word for me. I received a phone call and took over for her when she left for college. I worked for a single dad of 2, an 11-year-old and 9-year-old. They were quite a challenge but I learned so much with my 6 months of experience with them.
I would have stayed longer but they moved away due to his work.

I am now looking for a full-time nanny position. My strengths are dedication and hard work. I am also very creative and fun and like to do new things. I have experience with all ages and I am willing to work with you as the parent to make a plan that ensures happiness for everyone.
