I have been caring for children for 12 years. My experience began when my younger brother was born when I was 5. With a single mother, I was responsible for helping in caring for him. I have another younger brother who was born when I was 10 whom I also helped raise. I was responsible for most housework, laundry, and meal preparation. Besides my brothers, I have been a babysitter for 10 years. I have sat for up to 6 children at one time. From newborns to young teens. I have taken Education and Social Work courses in college and spent 2 years working in an elementary/junior high school as a teachers aide and tutor. I have done volunteer work at a daycare center with infants and toddlers from underprivileged families. I am a senior in college, while I am currently unable to attend, I am looking for a job to pay off student loan bills to continue my education as an Elementary Education major. I love children and have had years of experience in caring for them. I can guarantee your children will be happy and safe while in my care.
