I have had a lot of experience working with children. During my school year I work at a child development center with infants to 4-year-olds, spending most of my time with 3-year-olds. This is a daycare center where I supervise and play with the children. Before going away to college I worked in a daycare facility for a year as a teacher's aide, supervising and playing with infants to age 5. I have had experience as a teacher's aide in a classroom setting for ages 5 through 11 for five years in my religious school. I also have great experience with babysitting children, infants through age 13. I have spent my previous three summers as a nanny.

I am an Elementary Education major at Appalachian State University with a concentration in Social Studies. I have worked with several elementary age groups (grades kindergarten - 6). I interned in a kindergarten classroom and 5th grade classroom. Currently I am student teaching in a 2nd grade classroom.
