I started watching children at a very young age. My mom had a daycare in our house so I've technically been watching kids since I was 10 years old. As I got older I began watching children of all ages in the church nursery, (newborn to 12 years). After I began to drive, I received more requests to baby-sit from members of my church. Ever since I was little I've had a passion for kids and baby-sitting is one of the ways I can express that love. I have had summer nanny positions for a while and most of my weekends are free so I try to fill up on sitting jobs. I currently tutor at a community center in Lynchburg, which has added to my experience tutoring as well as taking care of kids (ages 5-18). There my duties are cooking/providing snack, help with homework, be a friend/role model, supervise computer usage and facilitate games. I love my job; through it I became a camp counselor one summer. I currently attend Liberty University where my major is Elementary Education and Family and Child Development; therefore, I am also open to tutoring if needed.
