I am 31 years old and currently staying home with my infant son. The past 5 years I have taught music in several different capacities, K-12. Most recently, I was responsible for 750 music students a week. In May 2012, I completed my Master's in music education through Boston University. However, with my teaching job recently cut and a newborn I have decided to pursue staying at home and open the door to other child care possibilities.

My husband (who is currently a surgical trauma ICU nurse) and I live in a wonderful quiet neighborhood on a quiet cul-de-sac. The yard is fenced in and there is also a nice park next to the preserve close to where we live.

My past responsibilities have included kindergarten through teenage years. I have my music education K-12 teaching certification and still keep busy playing at venues and teaching private lessons.

I have been caring and working with children since I was quite young. I believe that children of all ages are precious and should be loved unconditionally. However, I also believe in teaching responsibility and accountability. I am a firm believer in education and don't see any reason why a few hours a week can't be set aside for some constructive learning. I also like to have fun and spend time outdoors, I specifically like to swim. I have no problems cleaning and/or cooking and am CPR and First Aid certified.
