I am a sophomore at Southwestern University as a Biology/Pre-Medicine major. I am interested in pursuing a career in neonatalogy so I love working with children! I have some experience as a babysitter and as a volunteer at a child care center located in South Austin. I have worked with children who range from 10 months old to 12 years old. I am organized and creative so with both qualities I am confident that your children will have a wonderful time while they're in my care. I can also provide a schedule for the week or the day to ensure your approval. I have experience as a tutor in a variety of subjects so I can also incorporate educational activities. I also have experience in working with special needs children as well. I have my own transportation so if there is a need to run some errands or to take your children to and from activities then that is not an issue. I have two dogs so being with pets is not an issue either. I can also offer my help in housekeeping and cooking as well. I am detailed oriented and it's always a must to keep things clean. When it comes to meals, I always believe that they should be healthy, nutritious and fun! I'm also active. I love to go on jogs several times a week and I used to play a variety of sports (volleyball, basketball, soccer and track) in high school at St. Michael's Academy. So keeping up with children is not a problem and playing with them will not be either!

Along with my qualifications, I have a strong passion for children. From second to third grade, I was put into the care of a babysitter while my mother was at work as a full time nurse. I loved being in the care of someone else while my mother was away, but after third grade, I did not have a babysitter or nanny while my mother worked. All I wanted at the time was a friend to spend some time with, and that's what I want to offer your children - a friend. Another outlet besides their parents for them to come to whenever they need help or support. I do not just want to be a nanny or a sitter, but to be a positive part of your children's lives.
