I have several years of experience as a babysitter, nanny, camp counselor, and tutor. I have looked after children from ages birth to teen, and I truly enjoy creating relationships with both the children and parents with whom I work. Throughout my college years I babysat and worked as a camp counselor in Dallas, Texas, Stamford, Connecticut, and Rockville, Maryland. My responsibilities included going on walks, taking children to swim lessons, providing meals, putting kids to sleep, and a variety of other daily activities.

During college I gained experience from my major and my minor. As a Hearing and Speech major at the University of Maryland I worked as an undergraduate speech pathology assistant for people who stutter. Being that my minor was in Special Education I had opportunities to tutor elementary school-aged children in math and reading.

Additionally, I spent my summers working as lead camp counselors caring for children from ages 2 to 12. These positions required me to engage in swim time, diaper-changes, meals, naps, and multiple hands-on activities with the children.
