I graduated from DePaul University in Chicago, IL with a degree in political science and creative writing last June. Following graduation, I traveled through Europe for two months and then moved to DC for a job with the Close Up Foundation.

The Close Up Foundation is a program that brings high school and middle school students from around the United States to Washington DC for a week to learn about civics hands-on in the city touring the monuments, museums, memorials, hearing seminars and interacting with other students outside of their communities. Close Up runs on a contract basis with their Program Instructors, so I am unemployed as of a week from tomorrow.

I also worked as the medical tech for Close Up doing basic medical practices for sick students, and am also child and adult CPR certified. I don't currently have my car in Washington DC, but have a solid driving record.

During college and high school, I worked as a nanny for many families. I worked with many children in the Chicago area ages newborn to 8 years old. We played at the park, explored Chicago neighborhoods, baked, ran errands, went to the zoo, story time and museums in the area.
