I am the third oldest of eight children. Because of this, I have had much experience in the home with caring for my younger brothers and sisters. I was home-schooled until 8th grade, so I was assisting my mom with my younger siblings a lot. The youngest child in our family is now three. I just recently graduated from Texas State University with a major focusing on Family and Child Development. Beyond family experience, I have listed several other experiences working with children I have had outside the home.

Babysitting
* I have been babysitting since I was 13 for various families.
* I have been a nanny for a set of triplets.
* I have experience babysitting groups of children as well as young babies, older kids, mute kids and children with mental challenges including Down syndrome, autism and delayed learning.

YMCA
* Lifeguard and Swim Instructor
* Taught individual and group swim lessons to children from ages 4-16, as well as children with special needs including Down syndrome and Autism. (Group size ranged from 5-15)


Health Assistant in the Nurse's Clinic at Pine Cove Camp
* Provided quality care for children from minor scrapes to lice.
* Organized and got paperwork ready for daily Doctor visits.
* Entertained children who were ill by playing games, creating crafts for them to do and offering them hospitality.
* Helped the nurse administer medicine to the children at meals and bedtime.
