I come from a family of 6 kids, I'm number 5. I have 7 nieces and nephews ranging from 2-17 years old. My parents are both from large families, so I have lots of aunts, uncles, and cousins. My family has always been centered around children, so when my brothers, sister, and myself were all in school, my mom started an in-home daycare. At age 11, I started babysitting the children my mom had in her daycare on the weekends. I continued babysitting for several local families through high school, and at 16 started nannying part time. During college, I volunteered as a mentor for high school freshman, worked in after school programs for elementary children, and nannied part time. I have been nannying full time for the past 3 years.
