of Experience
I graduated from college with my bachelor's degree in April of this year. My degree plan was liberal arts with two minors; one in psychology and the other in sociology. In addition to this and my G. E. classes, I took 17 credits in child development. Some of the child development classes I took include infants and toddlers, child development, early child development, and parenting. As far as my personal philosophy on caring for children, I believe in having a safe environment that encourages my child to explore new things and interests. I try to help her achieve her goals without interfering too much. I do this so she knows she can count on me to be there when she needs help but also to teach her that she is capable of doing things on her own. I also believe that children need wholesome foods and thus try to keep the majority of their diet consisting of healthy foods. I believe these are some things that foster health, self-esteem, trust and learning.
Related Hobbies and Interests
My personal interests include reading, making jewelry, photography and talking with family and friends. I also enjoy watching movies with my husband and seeing my little girl make new discoveries and become her own little person.
