Rachael answered our ad posting looking for three consecutive nine-hour days of care for our eight-month-old son. His regular daycare was closed for those days, and we interviewed a few people to stay at our house with him. Rachael stood out from the others as having legitimate experience, and we liked that she already had some positive reviews on here. We felt that her pleasant personality and calm demeanor were an excellent fit for infant care. Rachael was a perfect choice for us! She arrived promptly all three days (and even suggested showing up early the first day to get the lay of the land, which she did). Each day we came home to find our son happily smiling or cooing in her arms. She was very professional at all times with us. We were also impressed with how proactive she was. She left a detailed list of the times of all of our son's activities, naps, poops, feedings -- you name it. She even went above and beyond and gave him a bath one day! She took him on daily walks, played with him both indoors and out in the backyard, and took excellent care of him all three days. We would feel very comfortable in hiring her again, particularly since she indicated she would be willing to do overnights with our son too if the need arose. We feel we've now met someone whom we can trust with that. Thanks, Rachael! :-)

I hired Rachael to help me when my daughter was born. I called her the baby whisper! She always knew just what my little girl needed, and she's thrived in her care. Because of her extensive experience and her background in child development, she was able to help us through all the transitions of the first year. On top of all that, she takes her jobs very seriously. In the year that she's worked for us she has never been late or called to cancel last minute. I am confident that when I leave my daughter with Rachael, that she is being well-cared for and is Rachael's main priority. Her calm, sweet personality is always a joy to have in our household.
