For the past three summers, I've worked as a summer camp counselor at a Country Club. I was in charge of about 15 - 20 campers each summer, and guided them through various activities each day, including swimming, gymnastics, tennis, kickball, archery, trampoline, arts and crafts, and cooking. I've worked with a different age group each summer: kindergarteners, second graders, and fourth and fifth graders. I've loved getting to interact with young children and being outside is a nice bonus! I also have three younger siblings, including a twin brother and sister who just turned 3 years old this week. I love being around them; I have so much fun playing with them as well as caring for them, and I think it's so sweet how they look up to me. I've also worked as a Paint Assistant at a paint your own pottery studio in Houston. I gained experience in leading and teaching children by instructing/helping the many kids who came in and by running birthday parties.
