For starters, I am the second of five children, so I have had a lot of experience caring for and watching my three little siblings from when they were infants, to when they were old enough to take care of themselves and not need watching. I have had a paid nanny job for a summer a few years ago, and I watched two children, one in 5th grade and one in 7th. For the past two summers, I have worked at a summer day camp as a camp counselor/primary care provider. I have worked with children in the 3rd grade, and also children from 5th-8th grades. The summer day camp is a day care that runs Monday-Friday. Each day I am responsible for as many as 30 children (with the help of 2 other instructors) and as few as 10. I have also had many years of paid babysitting experience with families in my neighborhood.
For housekeeping, I have never actually had a paid position in this field, but I enjoy helping other people organize their things and clean around their houses. I can mop and scrub floors, and the grout, clean windows, wash walls and woodwork and blinds, sweep carpet, do laundry, iron clothes, straighten up and rearrange rooms; pretty much anything you would ask I can do.
