I have grown up babysitting other children in the neighborhood. In addition, I have babysat (still do occasionally) my god-brother who has special needs. I babysat two families regularly throughout high school. For one family, who I was currently working for during this past school year, I would pick up the daughter from school, take her to and from after school activities, and help with homework. For April and May of 2011 I picked her up from school, and taught her math and any activities. The second family I watched their two boys during the summer from 6 a.m. to about 6 p.m. I would help make meals, take boys to and from places, came up with daily active activities (playing sports, swimming, crafts), etc.

I love working with children. During my educational career at Baylor, I taught kindergarten, first grade, and fourth grade.

I am now at HBU continuing my schooling in the School of Education.
